So the stupid thing will play everything, movies, games except it wont play MLB 09 The Show.

I had a copy, had one little scratch, didn't play it. Sold that, got a new copy and it wont play that either?

Anything I can do? Like clear my cache or something?

Makes no sense to me

I had that problem with a copy of 07, but I took it back and the replacement worked fine...

How bout buying The Show 10, see if that works.

Nah, I got it worked out. Had to refresh the system, delete everything from the fucking thing. Shit sucks but I have read up on 10 and right now it's glitchy as fuck. They completely fucked up the franchise and while they are working on a patch, it's pathetic you can deliver a game that can do that.

Also, the gameplay is no better than last year(and it doesn't have to be, near perfect last year)

I haven't had any problems with glitching or anything in my game and I've had it since Release...

I mean, that Player Potential thing is more of a positive thing than a negative (Granted it saps a lot of the realism, but hey, what the hell.)

I started a Franchise and played around a bit. Seems fine to me.

Fun game, but there's some odd bugs that are ruining it right now.

ACTUAL GAMEPLAY, is pretty top notch.

Franchise is totally broken. There was a patch day one, there's a new roster coming out Monday to fix potential issues that caused good players to have potentials of D and screwed up trade logics. There's a waiver bug that allows you to basically get big star players for free. Not to mention if you turn off auto trades your team still trades your team away.

These are pretty substantial. Again, graphics are top notch. Game is top notch.

Off the field stuff, kind of FUBAR right now. I would personally suggest waiting.

The franchise stuff should be fixed in a second patch but there's no date or ETA, just that it's ALREADY in the works.

Ahh, yeah, That's kinda fucked.

I did find it odd that in my RTTS the Twins ended up Acquireing AJ Burnett in my first season (Made it to the Majors cuz I bought some points from PSN Store and made my guy awesome).

I heard Online's also pretty fucked right now.
