I would love that Google service I think...
I just wish we had some sort of competitor here in my town for Cable/Internet
The only TV Provider (Charter) charges ridiculous prices, we pay 80 bucks a month now for Internet and Expanded Basic Cable (No HD Channels really even)

RE: What y'all be knowin' about installing cable jacks?
We have 3 large hospitals all within a couple of blocks of each other, we have 2 world renowned children's hospitals just up the road from the others. We have countless medical research facilities. We have both an MSU and U of M medical research centers. More hospital and private practices than I care to even fathom. We have atleast 5 medical supply manufactures within the city limits and more just outside. They just build a brand new MASSIVE hospital just outside the city limits on top of that. They just approved Phizer to build a massive drug research facility here too.
I'd say we're well on our way. You can keep your John's Hopkins, we don't have room for it.

Quote:The Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine are the founding institutions of modern American medicine and are the birthplace of numerous traditions including "rounds", "residents" and "housestaff". The Johns Hopkins Hospital is the birthplace of many medical specialties including neurosurgery, urology, endocrinology, pediatrics, cardiac surgery and child psychiatry. It is widely regarded as one of the world's greatest hospitals. It has been ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the best overall hospital in America for 19 consecutive years
Fuck your second rate hospitals.

Such as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...-_-Product
Weird, I wonder why Belkin does that? N+ is clearly a marketing thing that they are doing, but I can't find any difference between their N and N+ adapters. Both claim to be based on the 11n draft (which is weird, since 11n has been official for some time) and both claim to do MIMO and 300Mbps data rate.

Ah, but it had nothing to do with your wireless and that was my point. It wasn't your wireless acting as a bottleneck.

RE: What y'all be knowin' about installing cable jacks?
Maybe. But usually when they do that they hype up the output power or receive sensitivity. And there's nothing on the description that talks about either one of those, or improved coverage. Hmmmm. Off to Google.

RE: What y'all be knowin' about installing cable jacks?
There was no clear answer, but this is what I turned up:
It appears that wireless performance is the same. The N+ on the router indicates Gigabit Ethernet ports + USB port, than the N version does not have. There may also be some other features that are different between the router. My focus was the USB adapter, to try and locate any possible difference in WLAN performance between N and N+.
T
he N+ USB adapter is just named that so there's a wireless adapter with the N+ naming so people can buy matching products as both products appear to use the exact same WLAN chipset (RaLink RT2870).
So just confusing/misleading naming on Belkin's part.
If anyone knows more, let me know.

I have had Fios for a year and have not had any issues with it. I've had 20/5 but after I move later this month, I'm going to have 25/25. How sweet it'll be.

That's more like it. Time to start fixing some torrent site ratios.

I know the N+ shit costs significantly more... I think an N+ router is gonna run like $70 bucks and I think the adapter for it is only $10 cheaper.
N runs $40/$30 for the adapters.
But I just have a Netgear USB WiFi adapter that I ripped off from the cable company. lol
