WWE announced that the Undertaker is opening the show to cut a promo on HBK.

Honestly, the only things on Raw I'll feel like I'm missing tonight are UT/HBK, ShowMiz, Kofi, and Orton. Also, at least this way I won't need to see some douchebag magician try to "mindfreak" the WWE Superstars all night.

also, with Raw, you KNOW how it's going to end with the main event being Cena/McMahon. There will be some sort of Batista run-in (or Vince will make it a handicap match) then Bret will most likely feebly and pathetically make the save.

At least with TNA's old guy main event, you don't know where it's going and will be a good indicator of where the company is going in the future.

Next 2 weeks, I'm going with Raw. Stone Cold and Pete Rose as guest hosts. But tonight's ep just feels skippable to me.

I have yet to watch more than 5 min total of TNA programming....I see this trend continuing.

First 5 mins of Impact, RVD shows up...Jeff Hardy gets in his face. They have half a match, NWO shows up. /show

I'm actually going to start with TNA since we finally got SpikeHD last Friday.

If it doesn't pay off in 10 minutes...I'm starting the Raw taping on the DVR.

I'm recording both. I can't front, I'm interested in seeing what TNA pulls.

Also, this is another example of how competition, even if it's still minor league, makes Vince try. They broke out the big guns on Jan. 4th and they're kinda doing it again.

Not only are they doing the Vince/Cena match (which is pretty big to the average viewer, even if us smarks don't care) but they've made it a point to advertise that Undertaker is opening the show, in order to counter whatever TNA is planning to do in the first 5 minutes.

It's not much, but it shows that WWE is absolutely paying attention and while they might not be scared of TNA, they've at least got a cautious eye pointed in their direction.

Competition is the best thing the wrestling business can have. I hope to god that TNA succeeds, just to see what Vince does to fight them off.

I haven't been a big wrestling fan in years, so I can't say I'm skipping Raw, but I am definitely tuning in to see what TNA does. I hope the competition leads to good things from both companies in the future. Everything feels recycled anymore.

Dunno about Dreamer, but Helms is definitely still under his 90-day no-compete.

Dreamer needs to be further away from the ring than Flair

Man, TNA starts off with Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and STING. Amazing. That is like 500 years of men combined.
