I'm going to be completely random and sort of off topic.
My mom and I both read tons of romance novels. She only reads the Indian ones. You know the kind, white woman gets kidnapped by an indian, white woman gets saved by an indian, white woman saves indian, white woman gets raised by indians BUT THEY FALL IN LOVE IN THE END... blah blah.
I just cant get into those. I dont know why.
I prefer the romance novels that take place in England. Even though I never ever hear them talk with English accents in my mind.
I also tear the covers off the books because I dont want the ugly guy on the cover to taint the mental image of the lead guy i've got in my head. I've got a mental catalog of men I put into the rolls.
I'll read a few pages and mentally select the guy that fits it best and, tada.
The females are harder to pin down. My list of female to play the lead are few.

Romance novels...
I read two before deciding my fantasies had more believable plots. And I've had fantasies involving hot naked men arriving on flying unicorns. My imagination is entirely too...rambunctious for romance novels or porn, sad to say. :-/
